Illustration Inspiration: Jeremy Collins

I focus a large part of my time to adventures in sailing, running, and rock climbing. Inspiration is all around, and my life outside of illustration heavily influences my style and subject. As it turns out, I'm not the only one.

Jeremy Collins is a rock climber and artist (hey hey) and the creator of DRAWN. After losing his close friend in a climbing accident, Collins took off on journey around the world and documented it in film and ink. 

My favorite thing about the film is the use of illustration as transition. DRAWN floats from film to illustration to paint and back seamlessly- a balance that is super hard to strike. I downloaded the film and added "make a movie" to my illustrative bucket list.
